Each item has subcategories or specifications that can change a project from being financially doable to unworkable. And self publishers need every bit of financial help and advice possible to be sucessful. Then I also wanted to chime in about specifications. Most printers have estimating programs that will take that information and carry it over to create a job ticket. Faulty specifications will give you faulty instructions, no matter how tiny. Being exacting in specifications in a world where one small mistake in a procedure will cause a job to be thrown out is manadatory.
